Our Mission
At Friends of the Tigers, we believe that every student deserves the chance to explore their passions, discover new talents, and feel connected to their community beyond the classroom. As a branch of the Empty Cup Project, founded in 2024, we are dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities through extracurricular activities for students in the Fundy-Albert region of New Brunswick.
Our mission goes beyond simply providing programs. It’s about creating a safe and supportive environment where young people can grow, learn, and thrive. By encouraging participation in sports, arts, leadership opportunities, and community-based projects, we help students build confidence, develop lifelong skills, and create meaningful connections with their peers and mentors.
We know that strong communities are built when youth are given the tools and opportunities to succeed. That’s why Friends of the Tigers is committed to working hand-in-hand with families, educators, local organizations, and other volunteers to ensure that every student feels included, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential. Together, we’re not just supporting extracurricular activities, we’re helping to shape the future leaders, creators, and changemakers of tomorrow.
