About Us

Friends of the Tigers is thrilled to announce that club volleyball is coming to the Fundy-Albert region!
In recognition of our area’s volleyball history, and as an homage to the former Caledonia team name, we are proud to introduce the Caledonia Comets Volleyball Club.
The Comets will provide local athletes with opportunities to learn, develop, and compete through both developmental volleyball camps and age-class competitive teams registered with Volleyball New Brunswick.
Our developmental camps will focus on building fundamental volleyball skills, improving confidence, and introducing young athletes to the game in a positive and supportive environment. For athletes looking to take the next step, our house league teams will offer the opportunity to train regularly, represent the Fundy-Albert region, and compete against other clubs from across New Brunswick.
We are excited to create more opportunities for young athletes to play volleyball closer to home, while building a strong and sustainable club program for our community.
More information regarding age groups, camp dates, registration, coaches, and schedules will be shared soon.
Our Teams
1
Grassroots Programs
Our Grassroots Program is designed for athletes who want to learn and develop the fundamental skills of volleyball in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Sessions focus on serving, passing, setting, attacking, positioning, rotations, rules, and overall game understanding.
Grassroots programming is open to developing players of all experience levels and is focused on building confidence, improving technique, and creating a strong foundation for future volleyball opportunities.
2
Tripleball
Tripleball is a modified version of volleyball designed to help younger athletes develop the skills needed for traditional six-on-six volleyball. Each rally includes a served ball, a tossed ball to one team, and a tossed ball to the other team, creating more opportunities for players to pass, set, attack, and participate in structured rallies.
The format encourages skill development, teamwork, and consistent involvement while preparing athletes for traditional competitive volleyball.
3
House League
Our House League Program gives athletes the opportunity to apply their volleyball skills in an organized game environment without the travel and commitment of a competitive club team.
Players are placed on teams within their age group and participate in regular games and scrimmages while continuing to develop court positioning, rotations, communication, teamwork, and game awareness.
House League is intended to provide a fun, accessible, and competitive volleyball experience for athletes who want to play regularly while continuing to improve.
